======Cost est for cheap multiplatform arcade on large TV======
The [[https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-4-model-b/ Raspberry Pi 4]] will emulate most systems now... it is pretty damn powerful. I'm only using a [[https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-3-model-b-plus/ Pi3B+]] for my arcade cab and a Pi2 would probably have been fine. I did however initially buy a Pi4 to use but found it wayy overkill, so I plan to use it like this in a [[http://retroflag.com/nespi-4-case.html NesPi]] Case and use on my 4k 75 inch TV with bluetooth controllers.

Comparison https://batocera.org/compatibility.php
There are kits like canakit https://www.amazon.com/stores/CanaKit/page/19109D80-639C-40C8-9222-DC6775C304EE
===Software Distributions===
I'd recommend [[https://batocera.org/download Batocera]]... it is all set to go for the Pi4 and Nespi case (takes care of the scripts for the on/off switches which is nice), otherwise Retropie. There are complete builds with ROMs available at places like arcadepunks.com
